Reason for my Stand Still from B.G.R

Alright this is gonna be a very long post and i shall make it as tidy as possible:)
the reason why i said i dont know what are my feelings towards Grace.T is cause i know that i'm at a stand still from relationships. which sort of means that i'm just letting go of all the feelings i once had fade away and just concentrate/ enjoy being single :)

REASON for Stand Still:

I BELIEVE THAT THE JOY OF INTIMACY IS THE REWARD FOR COMMITMENT

alright you might have just went WTH!? whats that. well to put it in simple terms, i believe that the reason why people get into relationship is cause all of us yearn for intimacy. Sad to say lots of people are getting this intimacy without the commitment via this thing called DATING

DATING
what's so wrong abt dating you may ask. well first, for me it will be that there is no commitment.Alright to further my point on commitment what i mean by commitment is actually commitment to actually marry the person someday and not just ok committed to this person for like what 7 months, no. Next, dating is actually very self-centered. "why?/how can it be?" you may ask, as in, it can't be self-centered since there is actually 2 people involved.This is the ugly truth, whether you realise it or not people get into the relationship(s) they are/was/were in cause there was some thing they wanted form the relationship. it ranges from the simplest of things like just the "name" of being someone's boyfriend or girlfriend to the physical want, SEX. SO YEA! WHY WOULD I WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH SOMEONE WHO'S PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF BEING WITH ME IS SO SELF-CENTERED. i won't say that i am not self-centered, i mean i know that i've been self-centered by you know purposely taking/impressing the girl i like cause i totally wanted something from her which is for her to like me BUT! i've come to know that its wrong and i'm trying to change my thinking and actions towards girls by seeing them as Sisters to love rather than potential girlfriends. Other then the 2 mentioned, like it or not everyone you have a relationship with you actually leaves behind some sort of emotional attachment,unless you totally/ plainly got into the relationship with no heart at all for the other party but just to get what you want then i've got nothing to say. So to put it in a sort of like picture for you, ok so lets say you're getting married on the day itself and just as you thinking that it will be foolish of the priest/rev/pastor/the person who does the marriage vows for you to ask if anyone objects. Suddenly,to your surprise 3 to maybe even 7 people stand up and started to walk towards your other party and they too say that they are getting married to your other party cause your other party has an emotional attachment or they had an emotional attachment to them. how wold you feel? betrayed? but what happens if your side of emotional attachment stood up and went to your side?feeling ashamed just won't you. LASTLY the relationship without commitment some how will just come to an end.

SO WHAT IS THE USE OF DATING ?

what? to practice so that you will be super good when you get together with the one you have decided on? like how abt that's completely and utterly foolish.So if that is so what is the difference between calling it dating to calling it a training ground for divorce? no diff there right ? Furthermore to me dating JUST causes more problems. First, it skips the friendship stage where you get to really see,understand and choose whether or not you really want this person as your future partner. Number 2, when you get into a relationship skipping the friendship part which to me takes long to build up,you will be in a wrong state to judge how or who is the person you are in the relationship with.its just like you being Very hungry and have only been drinking plain water for the past few days, what ever that i bring and serve to you,it will just feel like the best food ever.same way if you are in a relationship with someone you will think that the person is the best no matter what cause you are apparently " in love"( which i will touch on later). Number 3, it will cause you to mistake physical relationship for love. what do i mean. simple if he/she held your hand tightly,whispered sweet nothings to you,kissed you or even had sex with you how sure are you that, that is love!? as i said just now many people are self-centered when it comes to relationship,they do it most likely to get something else.Number 4, it will draw you away from your FAMILY. you might ask why? and say' ok what?! i have good relations with my family and i got talk to them ma.' but honestly ! if you are dating who much of your time would be spent with your family, ok let's not talk abt spending time how abt just how much time spent on just thinking abt your family?! i guess you know the answer. you will just spent more time just thinking or spending time with the other party and what makes it worst it will come to an guess what ! you've just wasted your time one someone who will not be there for you forever cause there is no commitment! rather than the people(your family) who will be there with you forever!which makes your " 4ever togther " not so forever huh! by taking the attention and time of the other person, you are sort of like "owning" the person and what right do you have ? your not committed to marry the person so how can you so how can you do this ? it will be even worst when you start to feel jealous and become possessive without commitment! LASTLY, it might just rip you off of your purity. i guess i dont have to go deep into this you know what i mean, sex!

BUT WE JUST " FELL IN LOVE "

yea then again you might just, it was 'love' that brought us to get and we just sort of fell in love!

so what makes you so sure that you won't just sort fall out of love !?

what is love? if you said that you love/loved this guy/girl

or

this guy/girl love/loved you.

so we have to first sort of state out what love is to you. if its lets take an example patient. you say you love this guy/ girl but some how this didn't work out and you had to wait a few years but you still love this guy/girl, but after awhile you found someone new and you now say you love this other guy/girl so was that "love" for the first guy/girl real love? it ain't cause it was not patient enough to wait for that guy/girl you 'loved' if you believe love to be patient with that said of course love includes other things like you know being self-less and etc. etc. so just compare it if one part is missing then its not love,right ?

WHAT IS IT THAT YOU CAN'T GET OUT OF JUST FRIENDSHIP?
yes what is it that you cannot just get out of just being friends. i'll tell you things that need commitment thats what you can't get. Then you might ask' but i can get these things without commitment by just dating!" precisely my point made about dating it is without commitment,its self-centered and it won't last! Furthermore, friendship keeps you at the right amount of intimacy you need.

THERE ARE STILL COMPLEX ' FRIENDSHIPS'
yes with all of that said abt friendship and all. so yes you may choose to just to stay at friends but just that you term yourself as " special/close" friends(taking abt opposite sex here ) which deep down you know that what you have between you and that "friend" have is not just a normal friendship but some what like a boy-girl relationship but just without the status!So even this will cause you to have some sort of emotional attachment to the person, like it or not! and when this "friendship" ends it will tear you inside out just as bad a a break up from a relationship cause its just a relationship without the proper status.

WHERE YOU DRAW YOUR LINE MAY NOT BE WHERE OTHERS DRAW THEIR LINE
yes where you draw your line may not be where others draw their line. you may just wanna be pure good buddies but if you send the wrong signals and do the wrong things it will cause others be mislead and they might actually want more than what you want. Another thing about drawing your line, YES you may draw your line at no boyfriend or girlfriend.However that can be a very thin line or a thick line, cause it can be thin cause of what i said above not boy or girlfriend just "friends" or it can be thick cause, you can actually choose to just stay at the basic stage of just friends and nothing more no strings attached! THERE IS ALWAYS A CHOICE !

BOTTOM LINE EVERYTHING HAS TO BE RIGHT.everything has its time!
YES everything has to be right, it has to be the right girl/guy at the right time and right commitment, which makes it the right thing to do. just one thing wrong wont make it right. think abt it right girl/guy,right commitment but wrong commitment, wrong thing. right girl/guy, wrong time , right commitment, wrong thing. the most obvious wrong girl/guy,right time, right commitment, just plain wrong thing. if you believe that there is this like special someone for you then why would you still resort to dating and relationships after relationships? it makes no sense right !? how would you be accountable to your special someone next time?!Another way to put everything in a way to relate it would be like buying clothes what happens if you have the money(commitment) but can only buy the clothes(partners) which you dont fit in,or you have dont have the money(commitment) but you managed to find the perfect fit(partner) in both cases you wont end up happy right? so it can only happen when everything is right, right?

However this is my personal stand and views so yea these are the reasons why i am coming to a stand still form BGR and if you were wondering what is a relationship with commitment its courtship not dating . i actually find myself blessed to not actually date before which may seem like a sad thing in the world's view but i count it as a blessing. but i do have my problems with "friends" which tore me up which made me even more wary or what would actually happen if i got into a dating relationship.What more i can serve GOD, grow and get to know him on a more personal and special way. as in its different when you serve and grow and get to know GOD when your single rather than being in a relationship cause even if your relationship is built upon/ with God in it the way you serve and grow would be totally different and some how when you serve or grow or even just getting to know GOD its much easier when your single. So treasure ans use this Singlehood that GOD has given to us wisely all you Single Brother and Sisters out there:)

Darn it 'draft' messages :

The MOST embarrassing thing happened to me today.

well it happened like this,
on friday night gabe asked if i can help to message the whole cell group abt sunday's outing at ECP.ok

i agreed,sent the First message out.ok

On the next day, i was told to relay another message .ok
so i sort of retyped the message and as i was abt to send it out, liren messaged me so i had to look at the message.hence i saved it under drafts.ok
then i was a bit flustered cause i just help pack up like some of the stuff in church cause well they are like rebuilding the building, and i was also trying to look out for the MRT. which was coming in 1 min.ok
so without thinking much i opened, drafts, then while i was looking out for the MRT i think my finger hit on like the message where i saved a line of a song i heard on the radio so that i can find it when i reach home.stil ok
not knowing that it was the wrong message i just started to send it to people!and i didn't know!!! SUPER NOT OK
and the reason for me to be so embarrassed over this is cause the part of the song i remembered is this

And guess what i sent it to like 2 girls. but thank GOD its only 2,my phone can max send to only 10 people so only 10 got it and not the other 10, and one of the girl is like Johnia so (dont kill me johnia) dont need to care on lah but that means that the rest is like guys!!!
